Larry Morrisey visits with David Dennis, Senior and Junior on their new book collaboration, “The Movement Made Us.” The book documents David Sr’s work in the Civil Rights movement in Louisiana and Mississippi during the 1960s, including working closely with fellow activists Medgar Evers, Bob Moses and Fannie Lou Hamer. Also included are David Jr’s reflections on how his father’s work effected their family when he was growing up.
